Joe Kemper

Joe Kemper joined Managed Economics in 2005. Joe is a Bay Area native who grew up in Berkeley. He attended U.C. Santa Barbara for his undergraduate work where he also played baseball for the Gauchos. During his collegiate career, Joe was a Varsity Team Captain and competed in the 1996 Division I College World Series Tournament.

After UCSB, Joe spent four years in Los Angeles working in the retail industry as a Buyer successfully working his way up the corporate ladder. In 2001, he returned to the Bay Area and attended the University of San Francisco where he received his Masters degree. In 2002, he started his own fitness company and opened a health club in San Ramon, California. Joe successfully owned and managed the growing company until 2005, when he decided to make the change to Financial Planning.

Joe currently works with both our individual and corporate clients. On the individual side he assists clients with everything from life, health, disability and long term care insurance, to retirement and estate planning, and tax-advantaged investing. On the corporate side, Joe works with companies of all sizes to implement employee benefits (all lines of insurance; i.e., medical, dental, vision, disability, general liability, E&O, worker’s compensation, etc.). He also advises on corporate retirement plans, both qualified and non-qualified.

Joe is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and holds California State Insurance licenses for both Life and Health and Property/Casualty. He is a Certified Senior Advisor and belongs to the Society of Senior Advisors.
