Marilyn Suey joined Managed Economics in 2003. She has held senior executive roles in the high technology industry for the previous 30 years, including several start-up companies, one that achieved public company status and another that was acquired by an international telecommunications company. Her general management and leadership experience has given her the strategic and tactical insight to act as an advisor to companies and to family entities.

Her expertise lies in the cross-section of general management/leadership, finance, marketing, and sales, providing clients the best strategies and solutions to solve financial planning needs.   She works closely with a select network of attorneys, CPAs, and investment advisors to support this practice. She is a successful private investor and manages a tri-generation family portfolio of investments.

Because she has led small companies in various senior management roles, including president and CEO, she can provide a consultative approach to businesses and their owners/executives, whether applying employee benefits, assessing business planning/exit strategies, or establishing personal financial plans and programs to meet specific goals.

Marilyn is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practioner. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Applied Math and Economics and has obtained her MBA from the Wharton School, at University of Pennsylvania, in the field of international marketing and finance.
